NUR 2130 - Medical-Surgical Nursing III Lecture 3 Credit
Prerequisite(s): NUR2110 Co-requisite(s): NUR2134 This course focuses on the development of advanced professional-technical skills necessary to provide the appropriate therapeutic response to patients who require wholly or partially compensatory level nursing system. This course focuses on health deviations that affect the neurological, immune, endocrine and renal systems including burns and shock. Objectives for the clinical experience are focused on the application of Orem’s Self Care Deficit Theory in acute care settings. Principles of pathophysiology and nutrition are integrated into the course. Offered (Fall, Spring)
