LAC 2041 - Basic Law Academy II

Prerequisite(s): LAC2031
Academy standards are set by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission. Areas covered include, but are not limited to: administration, legal, human relations, firearms, driving, investigation, traffic, patrol, civil disorders, unarmed self-defense, and first aid. After successful completion of both academy courses, the student is eligible to take the state examination for police officers. Admission for the academy requires a felony-free background check by fingerprinting and a physical. Offered (Spring, Summer)
